I'm your elopement planner, your adventure buddy, logistical handler, dress holder, location scouter, elopement guide and SO much more.
I'm here to make your life SO much easier and I'm so excited to do so!! I'm here to keep your day as stress-free as possible. I'm not about stressing out and I especially don't want you losing your mind on your elopement day and that's why I create the perfect timeline for your day and give you all the tips, tricks and advice on what to expect going into your elopement day.
I'm here to help you and guide you through every single step.
I care because you deserve so much more than a few hours of pictures. You deserve to have someone who actually cares about documenting your day and i do.
Why do I care so much about your elopement?
Just because you're eloping doesn't mean that you are limited or deserve anything less than someone having a traditional wedding. The sky is your limit and you can do whatever the heck it is you want to do! I mean, you are the one getting married!
So, no matter how you want to celebrate and commit your lives together--I will be by your side to guide you through EVERY STEP.

So, you may be thinking, or maybe not, but if you are wondering what exactly you can do on your elopement day or what you could possibly do with just the two of you for 8 hours.. don't over think it! I am NOT there to pose you for 8 hours--HECK NO!

I'm here to guide you.
I will be with you as you put your dress on, tie up your boots and say your vows. I will be there for you no matter what and, honestly, I will probably shed a tear as you say your vows.
I totally get that being in front of a camera can feel weird, but I am there to make sure you don't. I am here to create a flipping incredible experience for you, and that starts with getting to know you! By the time your elopement rolls around we'll be friends and I won't be just your photographer who's there to snap a few pictures.
The next steps & The planning process
We will hope on a video chat or phone call so that I can learn all about you, hear what you're looking for, answer ALL the questions you have and start to help you to turn your dream elopement into a reality.
WHOO-HOO!! You're ready to secure your epic day with me and I am so friggin stoked. All I need is your date and location or even just a general area! It's 100% OK if you still want or need time to pick out a specific location. If you don't have a specific location in mind after I've heard all about what you want in a location, I will send you an epic list of locations for you to choose from
After I have taken the time to get to know you as a couple, have listened to everything you want in your day and heard your vision, I will help guide you through choosing the perfect location if you haven't already, and will give you some epic ideas to make your dream day come true. I will create a seamless timeline for you so that you can truly have a stress-free day! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!
AHHH!! It's time for the best day of your friggin life! We will adventure around in your epic location together as I capture and document your perfect day. I will be there to capture memories for you as you say your vows, when you laugh so hard you stomach hurts, as you yell "WHOO-HOO!! WE'RE MARRIED!!" and pop open that bottle champagne.. or wine or a shot of tequila, however you decide to celebrate!
A week from your epic elopement day you'll get a sneak peak of your gorgeous images to announce, share and "Oo and ah" at! Then you will receive the full gallery that documents and tells the story of your dream elopement day so that you can look back on this day forever and remember it like it was yesterday!

Why would I want all day coverage for my elopement?
your elopement day is a story.
It's a story that deserves to be told from beginning to end .
I am there to document the two of you on the best day of your life. It's a day that you will celebrate forever and I want you to be able to look back and remember it like it was yesterday.
There won't be any "Look here and smile!" posey and cheesy moments, because I am there capture your genuine emotions throughout the day-the happy tears and the belly laughs-so that you can truly look at your beautiful images and say "That was a freaking blast!"

This will give us enough time to capture your getting ready moments, a hike or stroll to your epic ceremony location, and an amazing portrait spot. This would allow us time for up to an 10-mile round trip hiking elopement-or we can spend the day exploring your ceremony area!
Once your date is secure I will send a questionnaire to get to know you both as a couple and how you envision spending your elopement day! Then, if you don't know exactly where you want to get married I will send over some epic location spots pick out just for you. We will talk about your time line and nail out all the details so your day can be stress-free!
You will receive all your high resolution images in an online gallery with unlimited digital downloads, sharing, and personal printing rights.
No matter where you choose to elope in Italy that is accessible by standard commercial airlines and a 2WD car, there are no extra fees. I'll take care of my travel.
**It just might be a bit more if you choose to take a helicopter, hot air balloon, etc. ;)

9 hour experience
one full day (up to 9 hours) of documentation

getting your stunning images

I will be able to capture your whole story from beginning to end. This will give us enough time to capture your getting ready moments, a hike or adventure to your epic ceremony location, multiple portrait spots, and end the night by a campfire, dinner or however you choose! If you do want to hike, this would allow us time for up to an 8-mile round trip hiking elopement-or we can spend the day exploring multiple spots however you want!
Once your date is secure I will send a questionnaire to get to know you both as a couple and how you envision spending your elopement day! Then, if you don't know exactly where you want to get married I will send over some epic location spots pick out just for you. We will talk about your time line and nail out all the details so your day can be stress-free!

Planning for our day and the day itself would have been completely different without Courtney. We only knew that we wanted to share our vows in the Tuscan countryside and have beautiful photos, and Courtney planned the perfect agenda for that to happen. She coordinated our timing around sunset, and not only were the photos breathtaking, but the actual evening was too. I remember looking out over the vineyards as the sun set, the view becoming more and more stunning by the minute. There were no moments that felt forced or posed, every shot was comfortable and fun and full of love. Courtney is such a sweet, kind, fun person and we truly enjoyed spending the day with her.
Courtney helped us to turn our dreams into reality, and we hardly had to do a thing. She allowed us to be in control of our day but gently took all of our wants and needs into consideration while making everything happen.
Lastly, our pictures are just magical. Courtney is an incredibly talented photographer, and I feel so lucky that we were able to work with her. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone eloping.

Let. Me. Tell. You. It's not the technical aspects of Photography that are the most difficult. It's the human aspect. Remembering that as a Photographer, you may be behind the lens but you are still a human, in front of other humans, in some of the most raw and intimate of moments.
Courtney balances both of these necessities (but rarities) with poise, great direction, and an overall kind calmness that just makes you breathe a sigh of relief.

We did a photo shoot on giant sand dunes with more wind than we had planned. We ran around in the sand and had a lot of fun. Working with Courtney was an extremely easy experience, seamless, positive and obviously fun. My wife and I went on our honeymoon and wanted to surprise her with a surprise honeymoon photo shoot in Venice. Courtney worked with me to make that dream gift for my wife a reality. Meeting and posing for a photographer for the first time can be intimidating, but with Courtney it was anything but that.
Courtney is extremely positive and helpful and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She played some of our favorite songs and before we knew we were just having fun and he was catching them every second.
